Happy New Year...
Another year gone, and what a year it has been. Ups and downs. Good times and bad. Trying to sit here and re-cap all of the things I have learned / experienced this year would be near impossible for me to do.
I graduated college. I came to terms with my CP. I moved to Vegas. These are just some of the things that have defined 2011 for me. There were certainly more moments that should be...

The Beer Bloggings #2 -- Joseph James Brewing Co. ...
It’s been a few weeks since my last review. (of an actual beer that is.) In my last, special edition of TBB, I tried (and still regret to this day) Cucumber Lime flavored Gatorade. Lets just say that will never be happening again. For tonights review I found something pretty unique. A local Nevada brewing company who, as of right now, has a very small but devoted following and has put out...
Corey + Liz Go To A Blood Drive....
For the last several years, Penn + Teller have organized a blood drive in the area to help out the community. Liz and I get wind of this and decide it would be cool to support their cause and help some people out, so we get ourselves to the blood center. Now, I am not a big fan of needles. I have had them around all my life with all the surgeries and such, but I don’t like them. Be that as...

The Beer Bloggings Special Edition -- Lime...
Now I know that this is not a beer review. I understand that. But the idea was brought to me by one, Mike Olsen and I couldn’t pass this up. I have never even heard of ‘Lime Cucumber’ Gatorade until about a month ago. I have heard some weird flavors of things before, but never something like this. In the words of Kel… Awwww here it goes.
So… It smells like a salad....

In Memory of Scott 'Bubba' Pollock
I will never forget that day…
I should have known something was wrong when I got home from school. I was already all mixed up with emotions. My grandfather had died just one day earlier and I had no real grasp as to what was even going on at that moment. I had gone to school that day, trying to make it though the day knowing that I had to go back to the funeral home that night and sit there...

The Beer Bloggings #1 -- Stone Brewery -- Smoked...
I’ve always enjoyed a good beer. I started out like a lot of people drinking the standards. Bud, Coors, etc. Then I got introduced to the world of craft brews and I really took a liking to them. I’ve tried a bunch of different ones since then and have enjoyed most all of them. It has been quite a long time since I’ve enjoyed a good beer, I thought it would be fun to try a new...

Live From Vegas -- November 26th 2011
It has been quite some time since I wrote you all last. So much has happened and there has not been enough hours in a day to keep track of everything. Lets see what I can gather from the last month or so.
So many adventures.

Welcome to Vegas
One week ago I packed up the car with as much stuff that could fit, booted up the GPS with the destination: Las Vegas, Nevada and headed West. just about 48 hours later Liz and I unlocked the door to our apartment and had officially made it.
What an incredible trip. Driving through Colorado and Utah had to be one of the most beautiful drives either of us had ever experienced. The sunsets were...

Do We?!
Me: We'll probably have to leave that night instead of that morning, its Rosh Hashanna and we have to go to dinner at Bubbas....
Liz: Do we get potato latkes?!?!
Me: No honey.... it's not that holiday. This is more of a brisket, turkey, pickles kinda holiday.
Liz: (in a very sad tone) Oh....boo.

Vegas, Baby!
As many of you who are reading this know, I (along with Liz and an amazing crew of people) will be embarking on a journey across America in the Summer of 2012 with Justin The Mystifyer and his national magic tour.
But before all that, we need to get the show ready. And what better place to do that then Las Vegas. The mecca of Magic. Which is why, as of the end of September, Liz and I will be...

Well, Glad That's (Almost) Over
What a crazy week. In and out of the ER multiple times. Cardiologists office. Tests. IV’s. Xrays. Chest scans. And they still don’t know whats wrong.
What they do know, is that it is “probably not a heart issue”. That in itself is vague and doesn’t really give me an answer. Tell me that it isn’t. This is nothing to fuck around with, especially at 22 years old....

The Lunch Break Find Of The Day
It’s been a while since I’ve blogged about… well, anything really. My last string of posts were towards the end of college when I had a very big emotional re-discovery. Since then, life has been pretty fantastic and I have been meaning to share things here but have been so busy with work and prepping for the move to Vegas (more on that later this week) that blogging has gotten...

tomorrow, i get muscle injections.
tomorrow i will be going into NYC to see my orthopedic surgeon. he will be giving me my first set of botox muscle injections. for those who don’t know, for those with CP, Botox actually relaxes the muscles and reduces the spasms and tension. if it works properly, i will be relatively pain free for anywhere between 8-10 months. this is something i am both excited and nervous about. guess the...

graduation? roadtrip? life? whaaaat?!
so apparently i graduated college at some point in the last 2 weeks. talk about a whirlwind. it all seems like a blur to me now. one second i was living it up in my dorm room with great friends, and the next second i was shaking the college president’s hand and walking across the stage in front of my friends and family. surreal. my time in potsdam was something that i will always remember....
